The HUMINT (Human Intelligence) depicts ability of the DIA to execute their mission of national security through actionable intelligence provided to the warfighters operating on the front lines of the defenses of the nation. Functions are performed in a wide variety are performed to support and execute the mission, consisting of clandestine and overt intelligence collection throughout a spectrum of methods and sources, management of the cycle of reporting and collection, and support of the direct intelligence to the operation of collections and collectors.
